Description of the visit

This zambra Sacromonte enjoys worldwide reputation as one of the places where flamenco reaches its maximum expression and quality. The origin of the festival dates back to the zambra s. XVI, in particular, at the wedding rituals of the Moors in the city.

The peculiarity of this festival is the location (a cave) and the family nature of the whole show, as most of the artists are members of the same family. The very Sacromonte is an attraction of the zambra, offering panoramic views of the Alhambra unknown to most of the public.
